Due to increased business, we are currently on the look out for Operators to join our experienced team at our Letchworth plant.



These are excellent opportunities for individuals who are enthusiastic and keen to develop their knowledge and experience within a Heat Treatment environment. Ideally you will have experience of working within an engineering discipline, with a proven ability to work as part of a team to meet specific deadlines. 



The successful candidates will be required to operate furnace equipment efficiently and correctly in order to optimise throughput and continuously improve quality, to provide the best possible service to our customers. You could be working within our HIP department, Salt Bath or Vacuum – so take a look at our website to find out more about the processes that we offer.



You will be expected to comply with all written operating procedures, including operator checklists and self-audit sheets to ensure that all process route cards are accurately and fully completed. You will take personal responsibility to ensure that customers’ components are handled correctly, during all stages of processing, to ensure right first time processing is achieved. 

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills and attributes – Training and development support will be provided

• Engineering aptitude and interest. Knowledge and experience in Heat Treatment processes would be an advantage.
• Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good working knowledge and practical application of the principles of manual handling.
• Self motivated with the ability to communicate at all levels and build, maintain and develop team and customer relationships.
• Good numeracy skills – minimum level 4 (GCSE level C) or equivalent academic status – ideally within Maths/Science discipline and English language.
